On the heels of a successful movement to combat voter suppression in 2020, More Than A Vote (MTAV) was focused on keeping their momentum and continuing their important work. The MTAV/19th and Park team tapped GoodTech to build out their website and craft a striking design as they look to increase engagement and develop a full action network.

  • Tight timeline – With the need to operate on a tight timeline, the client trusted the GoodTech team to move quickly and meet their deadlines. Always ready for a challenge, the GoodTech team worked to maximize efficiency and ensure prompt delivery of all assets.
  • Rough guidelines – While the client’s collection of brand guidelines and decks helped the team hit the ground running, the amount of creative flexibility meant the team had to work quickly to find the right path forward. Flowcharts and outlines quickly turned to design and building.

Anchor scroll animation

Keen to attract the user’s attention from the jump, the CXR Agency team designed a unique anchor scroll animation. Moving as the user scrolls into the site, the animation serves as an interactive element and also adds a bit of pizzazz to the organization’s online personality.

Usability improvements

In building out what was previous a microsite, the CXR Agency team also enhanced the site’s pre-existing branding and design language. Updates such as implementing new fonts for readability and enhancing certain branding elements strengthened the organization’s branding while remaining a familiar resource to users.

RESULTS

Since launching, the site has experienced a surge in traffic and time spent using the newly expanded resources. With polished branding and a sturdy framework on which they can build, More Than A Vote is ready as ever to continue their fight.
